Dianna, Nigel & Davy have been playing music together for 30 years in sessions, concerts and for dancing. As well as playing locally, they have travelled to far off places from Iceland to Bulgaria, Canada, Scotland, France and Holland to play at various festivals. They are well known at the Gig ‘n’ the Bann (Portglenone, Co. Antrim), the Eddie Duffy Festival (Derrygonnelly, Co. Fermanagh) and the Cuckoo Fleadh (Kinvara, Co. Galway) and have appeared on traditional music programmes on BBC, UTV and RTE.

In 2000 they were part of the Arts Council’s ‘You and Yours’ tour of Northern Ireland along with Charlie Piggott (De Dannan), renowned flute-player Harry Bradley and singer Brian Mullen (Radio Ulster). This year (2006) they were invited to play for President Mary MacAleese on St. Patricks Day. For many years they have played for ceilidhs and house dances in Belfast and beyond.

Nigel

Nigel mainly plays banjo but has been playing fiddle at local dances for over 10 years and has a large repertoire of local dance tunes.

Davy, on mandola, is a very accomplished accompanist (try saying that after a few pints) and has played the length and breadth of Ireland. You can hear him on CDs ‘Bad Turns and Horseshoe Bends’ by Harry Bradley and ‘Roguery Road’ by Jason O’Rourke (concertina) and Ruadhrai O’Kane (fiddle).

Davy

Both Pam and Kathleen have been set-dancing and teaching for many years and are experienced callers at ceilidhs. Recently they have become involved in local traditional dancing. No-one can refuse to get up on the floor if Pam and Kathleen are about!!!!
